Due to unfortunate reasons, we sometimes find ourselves taking vacations without the one we love. When it comes to our special someone, we think of them most during our fun and exciting times when they’re not around. Even though these situations generate a smile on our face, in a way we’re also saddened because our lover is not there to share the experience.
If you find yourself in a situation in which you are taking a vacation without your special someone, video record the trip and make your lover the subject of the video. Make him or her feel like they’re on the trip with you as you show them everything you see.
Key Points to Making the Video:
- Narrate the video as if you’re talking to your lover directly; walking him or her through your day and explaining the sites that you’re seeing.
- Explain how you feel while visiting a landmark and tell your lover how they would feel if they were with you.
- Start the video every day with a good morning and tell him or her what is on the agenda for the day.
- End each day saying, “good night” and “can’t wait to share tomorrow with you”.
When you get home with the video, schedule some time to watch it together when there will be no interruptions. Pour some wine, cuddle on the couch, and watch your lover smile and laugh with appreciation for your romantic gesture.
