I always find it incredibly sweet when my lady leaves me a note in the morning before she leaves for work, letting me know how much she cares for me and adores me. Notes are a beautiful thing but there’s one thing that tops the gesture of a sweet note, and that’s the gesture of sending your loved one a sweet and romantic letter.
In your best handwriting (no typing allowed – hand written letters are more personal), write your lover a full one page or two page letter expressing your love and appreciation. Spray the letter with their favorite perfume or cologne that they like to smell on you and stick it in a nice envelope and mail it to your lover’s place of employment. To create anticipation and the element of surprise, mail the letter without a return address on it. When he or she receives the letter, initially they will be confused and wonder who in the heck mailed them a letter with no return address. When they open the letter and see it’s from you, their heart will melt with surprise and appreciation.
