5 Things I Want
You to Know
For some of us, it’s harder for us to completely open up and tell our lover’s how we feel. Sometimes it’s hard to articulate the deep feelings we have, or it may be a case of us not wanting to be in a completely vulnerable position by baring our souls to the one we love. No matter the case, telling our lovers how we feel deep inside will only make them love us more.
On a piece of paper, write down 5 things about your lover that you never told them, but you think they would appreciate knowing. Even better, you can include the reason why you were scared to tell them before. Showing that you’re vulnerable shows a deeper side of you and will allow your partner to open up more themselves.
Here’s an example of what to write:
# 5 “I want you to know that you were the reason I was able to face my boss and iron out my concerns. In so many ways I am weak and insecure but in just as many ways you encourage me and make me strong. You complete me in more ways than you’ll ever know.”
Put the letter with the 5 Things in your lover’s wallet or purse for them to find later. You will be surprised of the reward you will receive for sharing your inner thoughts.
