Marriage Proposals

In the Sky Hire a skywriter plane to spell your proposal in the sky for everyone to see. Look up together and try to figure out what the plane is writing. When she figures it out, drop to one knee and propose.

Diamond Fish If you have an aquarium, place the engagement ring in the rocks at the bottom of the tank. Buy a new fish and put it in the tank. Go for a walk on the beach and “find” the bottle together and have her dig it out. When she reads the poem or letter, drop to one knee and propose.

Blind Engagement After a night out at a nice restaurant come home together but tell her you have a surprise. Blindfold her and walk her in the house. (You would have already called ahead to a friend to light candles throughout the living room and arrange the roses that you purchased). Take her to the living room and then tell her to take the blindfold off. When she opens her eyes, be on one knee with the engagement ring in hand.

Santa’s Gift Hide the ring box on the back of the Christmas tree like an ornament. On Christmas day after opening all the presents, tell her that she has one more gift that she has to find. The only hint is that it’s in or around the tree. Once she finds the ring box wrapped in a bow, allow her to open it, and then propose.
