Stupidity on certain matters produce thoughts of introducing new age limits to certain rights that we have as adults. The latest news from 19-year old Bristol Palin and 20-year old Levi Johnston has me thinking that maybe we need to change the marriage age limit to 25. Apparently this wishy washy couple is not able to make up their mind in regards to their future. The on, then off, then on, and now off again couple have called off their latest engagement attempt leaving us all with confirmation that this couple is not ready to make a mature decision.

PEOPLE quoted Bristol as saying, "It's over. I broke up with him." Also, according to Bristol, on the same day that she and Levi announced their renewed engagement on July 14th of this year, Levi told Bristol that he may have fathered a baby with another woman. Hey Levi, how about sharing that news with your fiance’ before you announce to the world you’re going to get married.

The final straw for Bristol was when Levi flew to Hollywood to film a video that mocks the Palin family. Bristol stated, "He's just obsessed with the limelight and I got played."

Of course no article is complete without a Sarah Palin quote. PEOPLE quoted Sara’s chime in on the matter, "I wish for Bristol to be able to move forward in life with her same forgiving, gracious, optimistic spirit, but from henceforth she'll know to trust but verify. Bristol is strong, she is independent, and she knows what is right for her son."

Bristol still wants a traditional family for her 19-Month old son Tripp. She stated, "I have faith that I'll find it. Through this whole experience I know I need a man who's going to be completely honest with me and someone who loves me and Tripp and wants to be with him all the time. I also want someone who has religious beliefs and a good family."

Something tells me that there’s more to come from this nightmare of a relationship. Let’s just hope that it’s later rather than sooner.
