Once a cheat, always a cheat, right? Well not always but each of us have our different levels of tolerance for it. If it happens, the core of your relationship, “trust”, has been lost and there’s no longer a foundation for your marriage to stand on. Whether the first time is enough for you or whether the second or third time is the straw that breaks the camels back, infidelity is not a welcome guest in anyone’s marriage.
Just like marriage, divorce shouldn’t be taken lightly. Marriage is a commitment
that you can’t give up on just because there’s a rainy day or two in your life. Even
when times are good, sometimes it’s an everyday struggle to maintain happiness, love,
and a connection. Exhaust all the options, exhaust all the resources, and exhaust
all your effort before giving up. The above examples are all actions and behaviors
that can be changed. Work together to change them to better your marriage and to
better your spouse. If unsuccessful, you will then be able to walk away without
any regrets.
